Looking good, sounding good

So she did great on her first 2 hour trial this morning.  A little after they put her back on her mask at 10/10 she got sleepy.  So we had to bump her back up to the higher settings (16/10).  I think maybe she got a little tired from all of that hard work breathing on her own.  So she took a quick snooze and then woke back up.

So after her first trial she did 4 hours on the mask.  She is now on her 2nd trial off the mask (nasal canula only with 2 liters of o2).

She has been coughing up a pretty good amount of stuff today.  (95% of her coughing is when she is doing the vest or the suctioning).

They have moved her vest treatments from every 4 hours to every 6 hours.

The nurse and respiratory therapist thought her lungs are sounding better than they have.  Still decreased in the lower left lobe.  But the rest is sounding more clear.

She looks good.  I got a pic of her smiling (this time on the memory card).  It is the second one down.
