Resident

When they came to look at the wound it was a lot more bloody than it has been. Before it has been like blood tinged discharge. This was blood. Not a ton, but definitely more than it has been. Maybe the car-ride down was rough on her.

The Orthopedic Surgery Resident came by. He said the incision didn't look too bad. That's encouraging. I hope he was listening to me saying..."her normal high body temp is 95.5 F." He did not seem to be paying much attention to me and what I was saying.

They are going to do blood work and see what is going on. And start an IV. The problem they are having is she had 4 IV's from surgery (well, 1 was an art line) and 1 infiltrated (when they were giving her blood) so her veins are pretty picked over. Plus she can't straighten her arms sue to contractures (tight muscles).
