So basically...Ellie is fine according to the tests. She might have a slight viral infection. Platelets and white blood cells are slightly low. Everything else is normal: electrolytes, sodium, potassium, no infection in urine.
I don't like that answer AT ALL!
They are going to send her for a head CT (for shunt/hydrocephalus) and a shunt series (making sure shunt is intact...this also includes a chest and abdomen x-ray where they will be looking at bowel obstruction and pnemonia).
These are the exact same tests they ran last week.
I am starting to get worried. What could this be?
Please include Ellie and the Dr.'s in your prayers.
