Her congestion was basically gone on the meropenum, but as soon as they switched back to the ertapenum (Nov 1) she has been congested more and her left ear was draining, etc... She is still junky 13 days later. But it does not seem to be getting worse.
Infectious disease wants to do 2 more weeks of the IV antibioitcs then switch to oral (g-tube) for 4.5 months. Her bloodwork is not stellar, but not terrible either.
